Natacha Carr

Nature inspired illustrator & tattoo artist

I’ve been drawing ever since I was able to hold a pencil. Art has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember, it has always been very grounding for me. Being on the quieter side, it was a way for me to share my voice. I didn’t think it would be a career path, and had attended college to study Biotechnology. I had graduated with honours but was having a hard time breaking into my field. 2 people very close to me, one of them being Joseph, made the suggestion of tattooing as a career. So I took a leap and faith. In February of 2017 I started my tattoo career at Don’t Tell Mama’s in Kingston, ON. In November of that year I decided to move to Nelson and have been tattooing here ever since. I would say that my niche is black and grey, neotraditional. I enjoy tattooing organic and geometric subject matter. A lot of my flash designs are inspired by landscapes, foliage, and other subjects I find while hiking and exploring nature.
